  8. DESCRIPTION
  9.  
  10.      PSA Cards is an easy to use address program.  It looks
  11.      like a card file and it works like a card file.  Just
  12.      click on a divider tab or card to open or close it.
  13.      
  14.      PSA Cards is also an OLE 2.0 container application.
  15.      This means that you can link or imbed objects
  16.      (pictures, maps, documents, sound and video clips)
  17.      created in other programs in your PSA Cards entries.

  22.  *   Print Rolodex cards, envelopes, mailing labels,
  23.      shipping labels and address booklets.  Address books
  24.      can be customized.

  103.    INSTALLING FROM A FLOPPY DISK

  105.      Run the setup program, setup.exe, from the Program
  106.      Manager, Start menu, or Explorer.
  107.  
  108.    INSTALLING FROM A DOWNLOADED FILE - PSANT33.EXE
  109.  
  110.      Run the program, PSANT33.EXE, from the Program
  111.      Manager, Start menu, or Explorer.
  112.  
  113.      The install program might be prevented from loading by
  114.      some virus protection programs.  Of course, the solution to 
  115.      this problem to turn off your virus protection program while
  116.      you run the installation.

  119.    UNINSTALL PROGRAM 
  120.  
  121.      The install program implements an uninstall feature
  122.      that will remove PSA Cards from your system.  To access this 
  123.      program, click on Settings command in the Start Menu, then 
  124.      the Control Panel, and finally double click the Add/Remove 
  125.      Program icon.
  126.  
  127.      If you have added files to the PSA Cards directory that you 
  128.      don't want to be deleted, be sure to save them in another 
  129.      location before running the unistall program.

  131.    IF YOU HAVE AN EARLIER VERSION OF PSA CARDS, READ THIS:
  132.  
  133.      When you install PSA Cards for Windows 3.1 on a computer running
  134.      Windows 95, or when you install Windows 95 over Windows 3.1 with
  135.      PSA Cards already installed, there will be a "PSA Cards" program 
  136.      folder on the Windows 95 Start menu.
  137.  
  138.      If you have a previously installed a 32 bit version of PSA Cards, 
  139.      there will be a program icon on your Start menu called "PSA Cards 
  140.      Win 32"
  141.  
  142.      When you install this release of PSA Cards a new program icon 
  143.      named "PSA Cards Win 95-NT" will appear on the Start menu.  The 
  144.      icon name was changed because it was felt that the old name 
  145.      could be confusing.  Since the installation routine does
  146.      not check for the presence of the old PSA Cards program folder 
  147.      or program icon, you will need to remove it from the Start 
  148.      menu manually.  To do this, right click on the Start menu,
  149.      open the Programs folder, find the old PSA Cards program folder 
  150.      or program icon and, and drag it to the Recycle Bin.

  153. LOADING A DATA FILE ON STARTUP
  154.       
  155.      The installation program sets up PSA Cards to automatically 
  156.      open the file "sample.car" each time you select the PSA Cards 
  157.      icon.  To change the default file:
  158.      
  159.      If you are running Windows 95 or NT 4.0:
  160.      1. Right click Start button
  161.      2. Click "Explore"
  162.      3. Click on the "Programs" folder and look for the PSA Cards 
  163.         shortcut in the Contents pane. (click the words "Programs" 
  164.         then look in the right hand window pane)
  165.      4. Right click on PSA Cards shortcut.
  166.      5. Click "Properties"
  167.      6. Click "Shortcut" tab
  168.      7. Change "Target" line sample.car to the desired file.

  170.      You can also start PSA Cards from the File Manager or
  171.      Explorer by double clicking (or right click - Open) on
  172.      any PSA Cards data file that has a .car file type.
  173.  
  174.      Another Windows 95 way of starting PSA Cards with a specific 
  175.      data file is to use the right mouse button to drag a PSA 
  176.      Cards file's icon to the desktop.  Then select "Create 
  177.      Shortcut(s) here" when the right mouse button menu is 
  178.      displayed.

  182.      Complete registration instructions can be found in 
  183.      the on-line Help.  Go the Help menu, click on "How to 
  184.      Register".  Registration is $25.

  196. KNOWN PROBLEMS RUNNING IN WINDOWS NT 4.0
  197.      
  198.      The Microsoft dialer sometimes fails to start when dialing.
  199.      To work around this problem, manually start the MS dialer 
  200.      from the Start menu | Accessories.
  201.  
  202.      The Microsoft dialer sometimes fails to translate phone 
  203.      numbers to dial strings.  To work around this problem, use 
  204.      the phone number to dial string translation built into 
  205.      PSA Cards.
